If you’ve never tried Biltong before this is a great way to try a really great product in a good range of flavours. We give you 4 Biltong and 1 Fatty Biltong so you get to try everything.
There are 2-3 pieces of each flavour in our sample bags. In total you’ll get around 40g of Biltong. All flavours are listed below.
I reckon this is the perfect way to try our range of Biltong. I cant talk highly enough about this stuff. I used to ONLY eat Beef Jerky until I found a great Biltong – and then I understood. Just like Beef Jerky, Biltong at the shops is mass produced and low quality. We work hard to maintain a high standard of product and I know you’ll instantly recognize the difference.
Traditional Biltong
Our Traditional Biltong is made to the highest standards, from a recipe that has stood the test of time over generations. We don’t over complicate it. A crack of salt and pepper are the first flavours you’ll taste followed by a deep mouth-watering beefy flavour. A splash of Worcestershire sauce and a light sprinkle of nutmeg give a depth of flavour to the beef that’ll have you falling in love. All tender, not one bit of gristle. Check out the coating on each piece. This is a well-seasoned, impressive slice of Biltong.

Chipotle Biltong
Our Chipotle Biltong is nothing short of a crowd favorite, a flavour that perfectly complements our quality beef. when you first rip open the bag you get hit with a smokey aroma. On your first chew that smokiness moves to the back of your mouth while the classic Chipotle sweetness shines through. A touch of spice dances on the tongue as you chew through it.

Here, at Beef Chief, we reckon we’ve gone that one step better by taking those FRESH notes of lemon, onion, garlic, bay leaves and crushed red chilli’s that make up our Peri-Peri marinade and infused it into our mouthwatering Biltong!

As soon as you open the bag that fresh citrus and pepper blend will be infiltrating all your senses and you wont be able to stop the drool pooling in your mouth!

We’ve taken The Chiefs legendary LOADED GUNPOWDER recipe and combined it with our mouthwatering Fatty Biltong.
Gunpowder Fatty Biltong is what you get when you let a soldier loose in the smokehouse.
Salty and Peppery, covered with activated charcoal that’s been COLD smoked over AUSTRALIAN REDGUM. Gunpowder Fatty Biltong goes off like a BANG!
Salt and pepper are an old favourite for making beef snacks. A simple recipe as old as the process of making Biltong itself – but we’ve taken salt and pepper and given it a whole new meaning and a fierce, punchy streak.
Black and gritty from our unique smoked charcoal seasoning, this one looks strange to the uninitiated but don’t be afraid, you know you wanna try the world’s first Charcoal infused Fatty Biltong!
Our activated charcoal, that we source from Australian Red Gums, is cold smoked with MORE Red Gum and acts like a sponge – absorbing a lot of smoke during the process.

Biltong is TENDER – it chews easier than our beef jerky; our crafted drying process leaves each slice very chewable and moreish.
Biltong starts life as large chunks of topside beef. The outside is generously seasoned the meat hung and left to dry. As it dries the thickness of the beef allows the inside to remain soft and tender – the opposite to beef jerky. Beef Chief’s Biltong is sliced ready-to-eat, so you can stick your hand in and smash the entire bag without any delays.
Beef Chief’s Biltong is not only ridiculously tasty, its also extremely versatile. It can be eaten on its own as a snack, diced up into casseroles/stews, thrown on top of a home made pizza, stirred through some 2 minute noodles, throw a handful into a salad to BEEF it up or added to toasted sangas and charcuterie boards!
